Host Your Own Tactical Training Course
TEES is offering free training for teams who host an open enrollment course. Hosting a course is an economical option to receive training as you save on travel and accommodation expenses. We will come to you!

The host agency will be required to provide certain items of equipment in order to support the course. When hosting an open enrollment course, the host agency is to assist in promotion of the course. TEES will handle all course registrations.

The aim of this 5 day course is to pass on the skills necessary to plan and execute a mission in order to protect a dignitary, prisoner or witness who may have a threat against themselves or the entity they represent.
This program will be geared towards operations in a permissive environment and the students will be required to put in long hours in order to plan, prepare and successfully complete a challenging final exercise.

Phase One - Explosive Handlers Course
The aim of this course is to introduce the student to the recognition, transportation, storage, safe handling, and firing of high explosive compounds. This phase is mandatory for all personnel who are not EOD or military demolition qualified.
On successful completion of this course, the student will possess the skills to safely employ demolitions in a conventional environment.
Course content includes:
- History and theory of explosives and explosions
- Demolition safety
- Types of demolition accessories
- Recognition of low and high explosive compounds
- Preparation and firing of charges using electric, non-electric, and shock tube initiated blasting caps
- Response to misfires and low ordered charges
Phase Two - Explosive Breaching Course
The aim of this course is to introduce the student to time tested and operationally proven drills and procedures in order to establish or further enhance an existing explosive breaching program within their unit or department.
On successful completion of this course, the student will possess the necessary skills to safely and confidently employ explosive breaching charges in support of special operations missions.
Course content includes:
- History and theory of explosive breaching
- Critical safety issues - calculating net explosive weight, safe stacking distance, and internal overpressure
- Breaching report documentation
- Breaching wood and metal doors (external and internal)
- Breaching windows
- Defeating barricaded doors
- Tactical charge placement drills
- Reacting to a misfired charge
- Multiple breach point entries
- Developing Standard Operating Procedures
- Stronghold analysis
- Breacher's brief back format
- Breacher's aide memoir
- Introduction to wall breaching
- Scenario based training / night training (x2)

- Shoot house for internal door charge breaching (not mandatory)

The aim of this 3 day course is to enhance the skills of an existing breacher by introducing him to more advanced skills associated with hard target breaching.
The host agency must provide a commercial structure such as a school, hospital, or apartment complex that has sufficient wood / metal doors, walls and other targets to facilitate the course objectives.
On successful completion of this course, the student will possess the necessary skills in order to perform more advanced breaching tactics associated with doors, window, roofs, floors, and walls.
Some subjects included in the Advanced Course:
- Review theory of explosive breaching
- Breaching report documentation using the Excel spread sheet
- Review of calculating net explosive weight, safe stacking distance, and internal overpressure
- Breaching both wood and metal doors (external and internal)
- Conducting blast pressure tests inside of buildings using the Anderson Blast Gauge
- Alternate breach points such as windows and walls
- Cover port charges with simultaneous entries
- Defeating barricaded doors
- Multiple breach point entries
- Target analysis and intelligence gathering
